Contest: Win $50,000 To Make Your Home More Energy Efficient!
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, JELD-WEN Windows & Doors is launching an innovating new initiative to promote residential energy efficiency in Canada. The general public is invited to enter the “Make Your Home a Star” contest for a chance to win up to $50,000 for renovations that improve home energy efficiency.
The prize includes $30,000 in ENERGY STAR® qualified JELD-WEN door and window products and $20,000 for other products designed to improve home energy efficiency. The contest, which is open to all Canadian residents of legal age, runs from March 15 to June 13, 2010.
This prize will help the winner not only improve home energy efficiency but also save on electricity and heating bills. By slashing energy consumption, ENERGY STAR qualified JELD-WEN door and window products offer substantial savings while enhancing home comfort.
What’s more, the winner will receive $20,000 to purchase other ENERGY STAR qualified products like household appliances or to carry out additional renovations such as insulating the roof, all in the aim of improving household energy efficiency.
